Artisanale Colvale

Colvale, a semi-remote village in North Goa, is fast gaining prominence as a scenic village along the highway to the new international airport. Colvale, one of the first houses we renovated was our favourite bete noir back in the day. It was remote, electricity blackouts for long hours was an everyday litany, the area was devoid of any service provider: internet, television and surely home delivery. But through it all … we would always hear the hornbills and ribbit of the toads, catch fleeting glimpses of the Brahminy kites swooping on the fish in the fields across the house, shoo away the cows grazing on our bamboo shoots or just enjoy a hot samosa from the lady running the kiosk at the market square.

What we have to offer at Artisanale Colvale

Our home has 2 large ensuite bedrooms both of which are ACed. The master bedroom and the guest bedroom both open into the al fresco dining area and the kitchen courtyard. The house is excellently cross ventilated and especially since the house faces wide paddy fields, the air is pure and the feeling is calm. We have our house caretaker who lives on the premises, who looks after the lawns and general housekeeping of the home. The home is fully furnished and equipped with all the basic kitchen and home appliances required for a long stay including a fridge, washing machine, kettle, 4 gas burner with 2 cylinders etc... When you stay over, you can stock up the kitchen from the supermarket about 2 kms down the road.
